This classic backgammon set is made from a single piece of beech wood, featuring a carved emblem of the Russian Federation. The double-headed eagle, gazing in opposite directions towards Europe and Asia, symbolizes the unity of the two continents, perfectly reflecting the multi-ethnic structure of Russia.
The entire piece is handcrafted. It is lacquered, with hinges and locks cast from bronze. The backgammon playing surface is carved from a single block of wood, and there is a checkers field on the reverse side.
The price includes 32 playing pieces made from beech and walnut wood, each with a velvet-lined base; dice made from billiard balls; and a branded bag with a wooden handle.
